AHAP benchmarking study looks at most challenging standards
Right around this time every year, The Joint Commission updates its list of top-cited or most challenging standards. As a follow-up to this annual discussion, and in conjunction with BOJ's own coverage of 2012's most challenging standards, AHAP conducted a benchmarking survey in October examining how its own members fared in comparison to national rates of success regarding the top 10 most frequent noncompliant standards, and asked its members where the surprises were-what did they expect to see but didn't make the list, and what areas were problematic that never had been before?
