Many hospitals have some sort of program to help curb smoking–whether it’s a smoking cessation program, educational materials, even incentives for living a healthier lifestyle. And certainly where and when an employee can smoke has become increasingly restrictive.
The annual survey coordinator salary survey is now available. The survey looks at hospital size, geographic location, and other regional information. It is completely anonymous. For AHAP members, we also issue a free report detailing the results after the close of the survey.
Now that the public has had a few days to review the interim staffing effectiveness standards for 2010, what are your thoughts? Are they reasonable? Were you anticipating interim standards while The Joint Commission is overhauling the oft-challenging staffing effectiveness standards?
