Joint Commission: PC.01.02.03 one of top compliance issues
The May issue of The Joint Commission Perspectives contained the top 10 standards compliance issues for hospitals in 2010. Ranking eighth, with 31% of hospitals receiving a requirement for improvement (RFI), is provision of care standard PC.01.02.03, which requires assessment and reassessment of the patient condition according to hospital-defined time frames.
