What is a risk matrix?

There has to be a better way of developing risk matrices. This was the theory developed by Alan J. Card, MPH, CPH, CPHQ, PhD, president and CEO of Evidence-Based Health Solutions, LLC, and a doctoral candidate at the University of Cambridge Engineering Design Centre while working with his colleagues in Cambridge recently as part of his doctoral research.

"We were doing a literature review for hazard analysis toolkits to help organizations assess risks before they happen, and part of that review was looking at risk matrices and their use," says Card.
