The Joint Commission has stated that “Update 2″ to its comprehensive manuals will mail in mid-October, according to Joint Commission Perspectives.
This announcement effects the following manuals: ambulatory care, behavioral health care, critical access hospitals, home care, hospitals, laboratory, long term care, and office-based surgery. Accredited organizations will receive one free copy of the appropriate comprehensive accreditation manual updates.
The E-dition will be updated in December 2010.
