OSHA is moving on…

By Steve MacArthur, Hospital Safety Consultant

…And hopefully moving things forward.

Quick reminder as the limited public comment period for the COVID-19 healthcare workers protection standard is set to conclude on April 22, 2022 https://www.osha.gov/coronavirus/healthcare/rulemaking).

If you were interested in weighing in on what will likely be rather impactful to healthcare safety and facilities professionals, now (as they say) is the time. If you’re keen to at least try to influence the future, head on over to https://www.regulations.gov/ and search for “Docket Number OSHA-2020-0004;” the link to the pertinent materials is the third one down in the search results.

It’s always difficult to figure out how much the individual voice can influence the conversation, but I guess knowing the sum and substance of the current conversation can only improve results.
