What’s new with AHAP: Present a poster at the AHAP Conference
The Sixth Annual AHAP Conference provides an excellent forum to share your knowledge, accomplishments, and innovations with accreditation professionals across the country. AHAP is seeking poster presentations that support accreditation- and survey-related successes. Poster presentations should demonstrate projects that have a positive impact on the accreditation prep process. We are interested in innovative strategies that have been implemented in hospitals to improve survey-readiness, staff involvement, and patient and staff safety.
If you would like to present your poster at this year's conference, please download our poster application form, complete it, and e-mail it to AHAP Associate Director Jaclyn Beck at jbeck@hcpro.com. Accepted poster presenters will receive a 50% discount off the price of conference admission.
- Any and all ideas are welcome. Some poster topics to consider include the following:
- An overview of your accreditation program–staffing, processes, etc.
- A successful new accreditation- or survey-related initiative you launched
- Methods of inter-departmental collaboration
- Successful training/educational methods
- Performance improvement data mining and reporting techniques
