From the AHAP Blog: CMS proposes two hospital-acquired infection measures

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has published a notice of proposed changes to the inpatient prospective payment systems (IPPS). These proposed changes include language for adoption of two healthcare acquired infection (HAI) measures: central-line associated blood infections (CLASBI) and surgical site infections (SSI).
